THIN, FLIMSY GARBAGE! DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR PHONE! Based on this and the dry bag I bought from Restube, I am now wondering if the phrase "German craftsmanship" has any meaning any longer. As soon as I received this item, I burst out laughing. There was NO WAY I was going to put a $2000 iPhone inside and go into the water with this bag. The seams along the three edges are not reinforced. There either should have been a double heat stamping (with a gap beween) to seal the two plastic sheets or a plastic slide on clip attached for the full length/width. WHY am I concerned about this? Because it is a tight fit to get the phone inside the bag — this introduces force against the edges and bottom of the bag. Taking your phone in and out — or using it inside the bag — repeats the wear at this point of failure. You likely will not learn that enough of an opening has formed by itself until you are in the water and it's too late.
ALSO, the "patented" top sealing mechanism is a joke. I did five tests in the sink and in every case, air was leaking out of the bag. What does this mean? Yes, WATER INGRESSION! This product is the worst of Amazon Chinese junk...but with a German name stamped on it.
