Wrap the lower end of the buoy 3 times on the marking lines.

FAQs

Game changer

I am a fit and active retiree but not a strong swimmer. One of my retirement goals has been to improve my swimming so I can swim safely at the beach and in open-water settings. I’ve been swimming regularly at my local beach, but have been cautious about swimming out of my depth. So I decided to trial a Restube swim buoy, and it has been a game changer for me. I feel more confident about swimming out past the breaking waves to calmer water, as I can rest when I need to without the anxiety of keeping myself afloat when I’m tired.
The cord is a good length, and the swim buoy generally floats behind without getting in the way. It is quick and easy to inflate and deflate and the material seems strong and tear-resistant. The dry bag compartment works well, although I do put my phone in a zip lock bag first as recommended. My only complaint is that the inflation valve cap comes off easily, and it would be good to make the ring attachment and/or the cap more secure. Otherwise I am very happy with my Restube swim buoy.
