Swim Buoy Pro

I love my open water swim buoy. It gives me a much greater sense of safety every time I swim, especially when there are boats nearby, because it makes me much more visible on the water. It also helps my swim buddies keep track of where I am, which is especially helpful during longer swims or in choppier conditions.

I also really appreciate the whistle that's attached to the buoy. It's reassuring to know I have a way to signal for help if I ever need emergency assistance or if someone else in my group does. While I hope I never have to use it, having that extra safety feature gives me added peace of mind every time I head out for an open water swim. I wouldn't do an open water swim without it.

I bought this because it had good reviews. When I tried it for my first time open water swimming it gave me a lot of peace at mind, it’s good for floating and storing stuff. Only notes are that water does seem to get into the storage compartment and the belt is a bit on the longer side, especially for a smaller person.

First restube. Not as robust fabric as another brand I was using for past 2 years. ( it started a slow leak). Suspect it will puncture easily if not cared for whilst swimming or stored. I’m not a fan of the waist belt that falls out all the time ( while drying or stored) as it’s not stitched onto the buoy lanyard.

Exceptionally pleased with this safety device. When swimming at peak times, it brings a sense of peace that nearby craft and paddlers can see me. Comfortable, practical, with no discernible drag.

When I ordered this product the tracking and shipping informed me it would arrive on December 23rd. A week later it has still not arrived. If purchasing for a gift maybe order at least a month in advance
