More and more drone owners are protecting their drone in case of a crash over water. The goal is to be able to recover the drone. On the one hand, the batteries should not be left in the water, on the other hand, the recorded data is valuable and the insurance companies usually do not pay if the drone can no longer be found. If your drone crashes into the water, a Restube automatic can prevent it from sinking, allowing it to be retrieved. Restube automatic is a buoy that inflates itself within seconds on contact with water using a CO2 cartridge. The immediate buoyancy of the buoy is 7.5 kg. This means that drones with a take-off weight of up to 6.5 kg can be easily kept afloat with Restube automatic. Heavier drones can be equipped with multiple Restube automatic to increase lift accordingly.

Restube automatic buoys, which are positioned by drones precisely near a person and inflate automatically upon contact with water, are being tested all over the world by lifeguards together with RESTUBE and are already successful in daily use at over a hundred beaches. From the safe shore, rescuers steer the drone to the casualty and place Restube automatic there. Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.
