Simply inflate the buoy using the mouth valve. Tie the strap around your waist and tow the buoy behind you while swimming. Who is Restube beach for?

Restube beach is for the whole family - for parents, kids and even grandma! The recommended minimum age for children is 10 years. The child must understand that the trigger must be actively pulled to release the CO2 cartridge and inflate the buoy.

Restube beach is suitable for activities on the water and near the shore in swimwear.

What is the difference between the BEACH, ACTIVE and EXTREME Safety Buoy?

BEACH has a buoyancy of 50N and is ideal for families, children and seniors for leisure activities on and in the water. It is also suitable for stand up paddlers in swimwear in the summer - wherever there are no swimming aid regulations. ACTIVE has 75N buoyancy and is ideal for swimming or stand-up paddling, for training or competitions. EXTREME has a buoyancy of 75 N and is suitable for rough conditions when kite- and windsurfing, surfing or in professional use.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

Idee gut, Umsetzung könnte aber besser sein

1. Packsack ist extrem eng. Das ist nich nur mühsam, sondern man befürchtet beim Packen ständig, dass etwas kaputt geht.
2. Gedruckte Anleitung ist ein Witz, winzig klein gedruckt. Auch das PDF beantwortet nicht bzw. schlecht die Frage wie die Leine um die gefaltete Boje gewickelt werden soll. Erst das Video hat geholfen (aber das muss man erst finden, der QR Code war da keine Hilfe).
3. Warum muss ich vor dem Gebrauch die Boje auspacken, Kartusche reindrehen und (mühsam, fehleranfällig) wieder einpacken? Bei meiner Automatik Schwimmweste (auch Versand) musste ich das nicht...

It is a great product but it is not easy to fit back into its holder once it has been inflated. The bag holder needs to be a little bit bigger and then you can carry a spare bottle as well.

My Whole Family Loves This Swim Buoy!

I am an avid snorkeler. I go far out, and my husband has told me he worries when he can't see me. We just got back from Hawaii, and each time I went way out, my husband and family were happy they could see where I was because I had this buoy. Plus I know any boats approaching could see me too. One of the times, my daughter used the buoy for some added buoyancy while snorkeling. I did not try the waterproof pouch, will do the next time. This is a great purchase. It also folded up small for our suitcase!
